Not a trader but I would imagine any sum of money you can do without that will pay the trading fees and will actually potentially bring you back a profit that is worth being without the money,

Depending on the market of interest. For forex and crypto that's fine, as long as your ready to lose/risk that amount
It's also good for stocks if you're trying to get a hang of it. But if your question is pertaining the lowest amount possible to get some sort of significant returns or profit, then it's a no for stocks.
