If you're considering a topical 5ARi then use dutasteride, or even just RU-58841 as a topical anti-androgen instead.
Topical finasteride has a molecular weight lesser than 500 Daltons so will go systemic to some extent regardless, whereas topical dutasteride does not and will not (unless you microneedle which you should know not to if you want to reduce/prevent systemic inhibition of 5AR).

It is, but won’t go systemic.
Needs to be applied with the correct topical vehicle though… a lipophilic one IIRC.

You need to stop microneedling in the areas that you apply the topical 5ARi.
