Isn't carnivore diet expensive? Or do you think it's about the same as when you were eating your regular diet. Only asking because I'm the only one with this shit and wouldn't want my family to have to pay a lot of money just for me to only eat meat and shit.

I've also heard there's a correlation with parasites. Read somewhere about someone who had chronic eczema completely getting rid of it when they went to the UK for vacation and gave her some kind of parasite treatment. Could have some kind of correlation, especially if you live in the US (they don't do annual parasite cleaning with meds or anything).

Not the original place where I found that stuff, but here's some anecdotal evidence of what I was talking about:

"I’ve been part of this group for awhile and it’s (unfortunately) been so helpful to know others are struggling with eczema and I’ve not been alone. The experience I had recently is definitely not the norm, but maybe it will help one/some of you get some answers.

I’ve had sensitive skin my entire life and my eczema has always been a bit of a on/off rollercoaster. A number of years ago, it was pretty bad- I tried a number of remedies- that everyone on here has tried, the usual creams, etc. I finally was able to get relief with light tanning from time to time and vitamin D. For the most part I considered my eczema very well managed until this February. I started to have major major flare ups. I figured it was stress / anxiety at first and tried everything that had worked in the past and nothing was helping. It would go away for a few days, but always come back. Between Feb-July I had 14 doctors visits - my general doctor, dermatologist, walk in clinics, and ER visits. No one could figure out what was causing it and the only suggestion was Duplixent.

Because I had managed my eczema so well for so many years, I was hesitant to try it, bc my gut was something else was wrong and causing this. I finally saw an allergist, who noticed my white blood cells were extremely elevated (my lymph nodes were also extremely swollen) and he referred me to Mayo. After a number of tests, it turns out I’ve had a parasite in me for probably a few years. My dermatologists were skeptical that was the root of the issue, but within 2 days of taking the meds to kill the parasite my skin started to clear up. It’s definitely not 100% better yet, but it’s been 3 weeks and I’d say it’s around 80% better and much more manageable, with the exception of my scalp (anyone have recommendations for that??)

Anyways, it was a good reminder to trust your gut and continue to advocate for yourself. I also get the feeling that derms mainly only want to fix the issue and not always find the root cause."

Parasites are parasites because they cause harm, if they were good, they would be called mutualists (due to symbiosis)

Also parasites can be passed down from mother to child through vertical transmission, they basically infect the fetus by entering the egg.

Ezcema still runs in my family tho so i think its just that

And as far as parasites i think its just a definition.. i think the ones humans arent supposed to be the host of are bad but there are some parasites that live in symbosis or even benefit their host (https://www.nature.com/articles/mi201423)

Nice bro

I feel like eczema is caused by a bad reaction to certain foods not necessarily not enough of others

So I would try some type of elimination diet
