Have you seen Putins statement?


This guy is crazy. I'm not on NATO's side whatsoever and understand Russia's concerns, but he basically says that if any other country gets involved he will start an atomic war. He will take the whole fucking world with him if he doesn't get his way. On the doomsday clock we're only 100 seconds before midnight (i.e. MAD or total human extinction.)

I haven't even fucked properly yet what is this shit. :feelswhy::feelswhy:

If they deploy nukes, some of them will probably detonate in their own country as well, considering their technology is 50years old and gets rarely tested. They also dont have the best track record regarding nuclear safety. It sucks, but I wouldn't be surprised if they radiate the planet again in the near future, voluntarily or again by accident. Muh based russians, they should really get their shit together

There will be no full-scale war, simple as. The idea that the west would risk WW3 just to protect Ukraine is absurd.

Russia and Ukraine have had beef for decades, it's nothing new or strange. Besides that, local wars and skirmishes literally happen all the time, and the West is just overhyping this one to a ridiculous extent. They pretty much did the exact same thing with North Korea, a couple of years ago, when they had no intention of having a nuclear conflict with them.
All this talk of a war between the West and Russia is just posturing and hype, it's complete and utter nonsense. They're not going to spend all these years building this hi-tech control grid, only to destroy it all in an all-out war, that would make 0 sense.

I agree with the notion that NATO probably won't intervene, but who says Putin will stop at Ukraine? He can legitimize annexing all of the Baltics, Turkmenistan etc. for the same reason (defending russian minorities.) We have seen what appeasement politics do to megalomaniacs starting from 1933, it didn't do shit back then and won't do shit now (if Putin is actually that crazy)

It certainly is something new. Never before was there an official declaration of war from Russia and this kind of large scale invasion. Russia's military has attacked every major city in Ukraine, also never happened before. JFL at your take with North Korea as its a completely different situation.

We'll see what happens and how far this idiot is actually willing to go.

That's true but Russia has been pouring lots of money into missiles and such, i doubt their technology is old.
