I legit can't go on any social media without seeing posts hating on indians, I don't even like such posts and they still get recommended to me.
Those posts also have lots of likes, saw few of then with millions of likes roasting indian and somali looks.

Years ago I didn't see such racist content, what changed?

I think it's cause of the recent negative media, the street food vids and things like the "poop war". Though these aren't an accurate representation of the country( I know cause I've been there many times), they'll go viral cause controversy gets clicks. I think the only way it'll die down is if Indians actually make an effort to get to stop it. Like finding who's posting these hate videos and the racist content and try to get it taken down.
