Anyone else not look forward to anything?

I’ve felt this way since I was a kid. I really don’t have anything to look forward to. Even the rare thing that should be exciting makes me feel nothing. Maybe if I wasn’t ND and sub5 I could have a normal life where I’m striving for something, but as I am right now, I see no point in anything. Or rather I don’t feel “the point”, even if I can see it. It’s all just more humiliation, more pain, more suffering. More desire. There is no enlightenment and there is no paradise at the end of the road.

Kind of, I have a “don’t jinx it” attitude with all that’s happened in my life. But this isn’t a bad thing, it’s been grounding, made me more in the here and now.
