I take it idk if it does anything

I can still get burnt

I'm on it rn for 3 days, it changed my skin color in like 1 day and a half.

Btw you should still use sunscreen even if astaxanthin helps with sun damage.

I'm on astanxhantin (and beta carotene) supplements for more than 1 year now. maybe 1.5 years almost.
It helps a bit with skin tone, which is why i used it for.

* dht inhibitor, i dunno.
* tanning without damage is cope comment. it's correct, that you will have less damage from sun, but now way that it cancels 100% of sun damage. not even close.

From my research its kinda useless for skin color

It’s a very strong antioxidant but it doesnt alter skin tone despite being pricy

Beta carotene + lycopene combo mogs it

I mean, I've used beta carotene in the past and the color it gave me was shit, my gym bud even noticed it without me mentioning.

From the few days I've been on astaxanthin, the skin tone seems to be much better than the orange/sick tone beta carotene gave me. I think beta carotene is better suited for blonde people.

i'm getting both since months and my color is the same, even a shit color would be an improvement

I've read somewhere that the way plant-form vitamin A (beta carotene, astaxanthin, lycopene) works, is that if you have a surplus of vitamin A it kinda stays on your bloodstream until your body needs it, and that's the reason they change your coloring.

I've been eating beef liver for the past few weeks so I've been getting plenty of vitamin A, which would make the astaxanthin I'm taking rn a surplus of vitamin A, maybe something like that could work for you guys?

Have you tried lycopene? I heard it’s better than astaxanthin for reddish coloring.

I use it daily. It has definitely given my skin a glow and seems to have even made it softer. Expensive stuff though.

No, I have not. From what I know lycopene gives a brownish red coloring.
