Indeed brother, I am about to throw away my soap as you see this comment
Don't throw it away.....You just need other things to use along with. Are you trying to lighten your whole body or just a certain part? What do you already use for skin lightening?

Started with only kojic acid, didn't see any results

You have to use creams with it for it to work and sunscreen every 2 hours outside. If you are trying to lighten the whole body you might want to try glutathione.

Only face and bruh this is quarantine I am legit avoiding sun 24/7 but still didn't work, did it work for you and how many times did you apply it in a week?

no i am white but it did get rid of my semi olive complexion I had from sun tanning
Of course the more lighter skinned you are the more kojic acid works.

1. Get koji-San for a korean mart and Likas papaya soap from a filipino store along with say a goat milk soap or mild moisturizing soap.

2. In the am apply your koji-san or likas to a moistened face and leave on to dry for 5 to 10 minutes. Apply what ever creams or gels you use (I use .1% retin a and a 4% hydroquinone but you dont have to use either) and then if you go outside sunblock.

Then evening do the same.

After a week or so of this you'll wanna take a break and skin build to reduce over exfoliation.

Do this for atleast 2 months and you'll see results.

I am American Black. naturally mid toned, however I was obsessed with getting as dark as possible and fucked up my skin.

First photo I lived in the tropics and bathed in coconut oil. My darkest tone from almost a decade ago. Second is after 2 year of working on my skin.

That isn't to say I was my darkest a 2 years ago, but I still had accumulated sun damage. I was really irresponsible with sun exposure.

Koji-San is something I stay away from now because Kojic Acid makes the skin that Korean white skin tone. I would look ghastly if I used it now, but it's a great exfoliate to start with the first 3 to 6 months.

You can also just make kojic soap by melting some bar base with kojic acid powder.

I really want to say this for anyone dark skinned reading this. If your actual skin tone is not your "goal", you won't see the results I have. Any product promising that probably has steroids and you will get stretch marks using it.

Slow and steady wins the race kids, go slow on exfoliating products or else you'll get hyper pigmentation and itll be even harder to reach the results you want.
