For the most part, there is no prevalent systemic racism in the present society, the reality is that blacks are on average lower socioeconomic class citizens (the fact that there are stuck there is a different issue), so it is normal that they are perceived, stigmatized, and hence treated differently. Blacks men are more likely to commit crimes (costs/benefits to commit a robbery is superior for them than if you have a PhD in stem) so it is logical that policemen do racial profiling against blacks. People would flip their stereotypes and the way they treat them if blacks were the ones on top (having more wealth, knowledge, authority).

I disagree son. It depends largely on your upbringing. Violence was only needed in primal times where there was no social contract to live in civilization.

I think you will find your answer in anthropology. It is a survival mechanism i.e. a foreigner enters your tribe, they could be there to harm and steal from you or could be there to assist or trade with you.

Your mind is programmed to draw on past experiences, what others tell you (the media) and other ques to decipher if this is a friend or foe.

You would need to have these prejudices to survive as people would of regularly wanted to kill you.

kids are not racist, its programmed into them by experiences and through the media.

Race isn't actually a social construct, though it also doesn't work the way most people think it does.

Racism can manifest itself in mostly 2 different ways:

Top down racism: A powerful racial majority (or minority) controls society, and regards the races it rules over as lesser.
Bottom up racism: A powerful racial minority has more wealth/power per capita and thus is hated by the less wealth/powerful races.

The main difference between the 2 forms of racism is that the later is typically just bluepill cope. Consider the jews: Yes they are arguably scummy and yet they also have some of the highest average IQ in the world so why would not be powerful? The reason bottom up racism is typically cope is that the people practicing it are generally in massive denial about the ultimate reason their status is lower (lower IQ/genetic inferiority).

Tbh most racism is bullshit cope. Even if IQ averages and looks are different among races they are also different among different social classes, yet nobody seems to care when members of "their race" are filthy rich. Because they are on the "same side" you see. It's all bullshit cope.

Listen to this. Would racism exist if humanity was suddenly can in contact with several alien races at once? Would our racism decline as soon as we realized we are all humans in the eyes of other extraterrestrial groups? What if one of these groups wanted to eradicate all of us? I think "racism" has to do with pride and survival in the face of opposing forces. You group with people that are similar to you depending on your surroundings. For many years some white groups (The Irish are a good example of this) were seen the same way racists see blacks today. It wasn't until they were surrounded by other groups that they started including those ethnicity under the umbrella term of white.
