Anyone here had septoplasty?

I have a fairly crooked nose because of a baseball injury when I was a kid.

I'll be getting a septoplasty this summer.

Has anyone here had it? How was your recovery? Did you see significant aesthetic change?

i'm getting it for purely aesthetic purposes tbh, I can nosebreathe fine.

I'd get a rhino but septoplasty is covered entirely by insurance, so why the fuck not.

It doesn’t change shape of nose lol they just straighten the cartilage in ur nose so u can breath

I did. My recovery was tough in the first few days. It is very stressful to be aware about mewing and at the same time be forced mouth breathe.

I had 0 aesthetic changes to my nose, but then again, my nose looks fine, I didn’t want any changes. You should get septo-rhino plasty if you want an aesthetic change

Wouldn't it even out nostril size as well, and add some symmetry?

Idk maybe but usually ppl get it for deviated septum. Doesn’t change nose at all
