damn that’s dope asf devOps is great $ and stableYeah I have few certs in cloud computing area. I used to intern as a data scientist(finished) and now I am currently working in DevOps which is like where I wanted to be.
What kinda programmer do you mean? Like frontend, back end or database?
I am 21 rn. I started programming when I was 18 because I enrolled in a bachelors in CS. After my first internship, I decided to go the DevOps route because rn the market is oversaturated af in my area, so the past two years I did lot of cloud computing learning like kubernetes,Docker etc.damn that’s dope asf devOps is great $ and stable
i love seeing high iq tech bros on here
i’m personally following a data engineer roadmap.
what’s your age if i can ask?
Is the work hard? Most importantly is the pay good? What core skills are you using currently?Senior Software Engineer with 5+ YoE

i just turned 22. i’m learning azure and i’ve used docker before. I grad next year and i’m so fucking grateful for myself that i switched from an IT major to CS. i didn’t even know how to code in december and now i’m leetcoding and working on some really hard projects.I am 21 rn. My internship was pretty ok, you need a good mentor in the work time and luckily I had one. They asked me a lot of DSA stuff in the interview but I didn’t use them much, just become proficient in loops is I would say. I switched from that to cloud computing domain because I like cloud computing tbh, currently I work more in debugging than the code.i just turned 22. i’m learning azure and i’ve used docker before. If i didn’t go Data Engineer route DevOps would 100% be my second option. do you have to work with code much or is it more with the software? and what was your internship like?
that’s what’s up. i like working with cloud as well that’s why i picked data engineer. also devOps is dope for your age becuz that’s even less of an entry role than DE, but now with the demand there’s def more entry opportunities. My internship was pretty ok, you need a good mentor in the work time and luckily I had one. Tbh I was lucky with the DevOps role cuz you know idk much about Networks, I do know skills for being a SysAdmin so it came in clutch for me.
