It involves risking your health and possibly dying... I know for a fact that if you want free housing in NYC the easiest way to do so is to get tuberculosis. If you’re homeless and get tuberculosis, once you’ve recovered, the hospital can’t just throw you out onto the street. Albeit the housing won’t be great but it’s still a free apartment in an expensive ass city.
