3 inch sole would look quite obvious. For the highest height boost while looking subtle you can either do Air Max 95 , 270, or 720 which add about 1.5 inches plus one height lift that adds 1.7 (they claim to add 3cm but Rob Paul did a video on it and they actually add 1.7cm). Together you would get over 5cm of height. Other option is getting elevator shoes but I wouldn't go past 3 inches since they are goofy looking and you are basically walking with discrete heels on and your foot will get fucked. I own a pair of these 2.6 inch elevator shoes and they feel quite normal. (keep in mind there is no space in the shoe for a lift at all)
