Anyone know any good chewing routines?

Just got some hard gum from Amazon. Anytime I clench my jaw my lower third looks more square like instead of round. I put two and two together and determined that masseter hypertrophy might boost me up probably like .25 psl points.

@SayNoToRotting thoughts?
 
Good that you ask, because there a many ways one can fuck up chewing


  1. chew for 1 hour max
  2. move your jaw up and down like a crocodile, don't rotate your jaw joint
both help to prevent TMD

I have been chewing on... hard stuff (dog sticks) for 1 week now, and I haven't got any issue with the jaw joint, unlike many others who try chewing.

How long per day and week? I'm thinking 30 minutes on each side 3 times a week like @StudyHacks did. I usually rotate sides every 5 minutes.

every day for 1 hour. I would chew on both sides simultaneously, I just wouldn't risk straining the joint of the non chewing side of the jaw.
What about open mouth chewing? Is it better?
