Likewise Impaction could bury maxillary teeth under upper lip

Speaking of maxilla, what does it mean that when I brush my teeth (1x a month), my electric toothbrush always bruises my gum (makes it bleed) in the upper row, ie the teeth are too "short" or the gum is just way too exposed? What does this tell about my maxilla?

Do you have ceph xray? It's hard to tell without it, it can be excessive gum, too protruded maxilla, etc.
