Anyone switched from Adapelene to Tretinoin?

I've been using 0.1% Adapelene with no skin irritation but still using sunscreen of course. What % of tretinoin should I switch to when I decide to switch?

I did exactly what you did but switched from adapalene to 0.05% tretinoin and looked like complete shit for two months because it was too strong for my skin to handle

Adapalene gave me TERRIBLE acne. Adapalene is really shit. Get tret asap. Do yourself a favor GET TRET.

Adapelene is getting rid of my acne so I don't hate it but I just heard tret is better.

Adapalene got rid of my acne as well, but tret is doing a better job in my case and the collagen benefits are noticeable.

Yeah thats the main reason I want to switch. Tret in the long run has anti-aging benefits that I don't think adapelene is on par with as I haven't really seen much collagen difference just my acne is going away

I'm gonna use adapelene in the morning, tret at night but obviously build up tolerance to tret before i do that daily. they work on two different receptors and don't counteract each other. since adapelene has no side effects i don't think my skin will die from it

I don't think that's a good idea. Sure they work on different receptors, but they both dry your skin. In addition, just like tret, adapalene also makes your skin more sensitive to sunlight. It really isn't necessary.

tret worked for sure. my skin is almosst flawless after only 6 months. i predict in like 1 year my skin will be crystal clear

Amazing news for me dude. So you also said your hair thinned out on accutane and then once you stopped it ended? So my hair currently thinned the fuck out, it’s still falling out now actually. I ordered retin A but did your hair loss stop as soon as you quit taking accutane or did it keep falling for a bit. Also what doseage of tretinoin?

i took accutane before this site so i didnt really check on hair loss

i just noticed it thinner while on accutane and it stayed thin for some months

but not its thicker again after being off accutane for a long time

i started tret at 0.025 and my skin didnt get irratated at all so i moved up to 0.05 and its been working
