it's bullshit. I applied to my acne with 2 applications the pimple vanished but I kept getting new pimples elsewhere.
it was 1% I got it from pharmacy.

Clindamycin is an antibiotic that simply kills the bacteria causing acne, it doesn't stop the fact that you're overproducing oil and have clogged pores. It also doesn't work in the long run, since the bacteria often can develop resistance against clindamycin.

If you wanna use Clindamycin, use it with a Benzoyl Peroxide wash at night. It'll prevent bacterial resistance against clindamycin and unclog your pores. I recommend Panoxyl Face Wash 4% BP.

Azelaic acid is good for evening out skin tone and texture. If you have red marks left over from past acne, it'll help treat it. Azelaic Acid isn't that effective at treating acne on its own, and should be used in combination with another acne primary treatment (Tretinoin or Benzoyl Peroxide).

Guess I'm lucky my 1% Clindamycin is paired with 5% Benzoyl Peroxide. I leave it on particularly bad acne and it helps
