I do it. It relaxes you a little bit, not a huge impact, but it helps a bit. I use the one from now foods

I take two tablets and is 200 g magnesium and 2000 grams magnesium bisglycinate. I took it early in the day once and it did make me a bit sleepy so I think it works. I use with chamomile tea

My sleep stack is

1mg melatonin (I get the CVS brand, hoping that their shit is closer to what they claim, since melatonin is a supplement it’s not regulated so shit you get can vary as much as 0.2x to 10x no joke).

Magnesium bisglycinate. 1 tablet, pure encapsulations brand

Zinc picolinate 20mg (synergizes well with magnesium).

I take 75mg to 150mg of Armodafinil (bigger stronger brother of Modafinil) during the day and this stack still helps me get amazing sleep.

magnesium l-threonate has much less elemental magnesium per gram compared to glycinate but it is supposedly a better cognitive enhancer

Brutal how I took like 40 different meds to sleep at least 5 hours and there are people scared to take 1mg of melatonin

The best thing I've ever found for sleep is 5HTP. I didn't even take it for sleep, but I got a free sample when I ordered some other shit, and took it just to see what it would do. Definitely made it easier to fall asleep and the sleep was good, and I didn't wake up halfway through the night like I do with every other sleep aid.

A consistent meditation practice also makes it easier to fall asleep.

Do you work out often as well and shit?
5 times a week workout. 4 days of lifting and a day of HIIT. 10000steps almost every day.

Moda for preworkout (JFL at people still running that peasant stim called Caffeine, government gives you that shit for free FFS). If I take it after 1pm, no sleep stack can get me to sleep.

Melatonin puts you to sleep but doesn't work to lengthen the sleeping time, imo useless or depends on your sleeping troubles
