Quote:The most important hormones found in milk and other dairy products by using a variety of analytical methods consist of prolactin, steroids including estrogens, progesterone, corticoids, and androgens. Moreover, the existence of other hormones such as insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) (3) and local hormones including prostaglandins (PGs) (4, 5), in dairy products has been reported. It has been assumed that most of the hormones are transferred into milk by diffusion. However, evidence is available for active mechanisms like those for progesterone in goats and prolactin in cows (6, 7). PGs level in milk samples could be used as a marker of mastitis in cows (8).

Ok, so lets break down each of the different side effects implicated in this

IGF-1

So cows are loaded with IGF-1 when they are used to farm, and this is very present in the milk that they produce, regular cows milk consumption has been shown to increase IGF-1 levels by around 10% in humans which is somewhat interesting, but dont expect this to induce extra bone growth

Androgens

Quote:Despite the fact that the main source of androgens and in particular testosterone is the testes but previous studies showed the presence of testosterone (45–150 pg/ml) and other members of androgens family including 5α-androstane-3, 17-dion (1–5 ng/ml) in cows, milk

Progesterone

Quote:The measurable level of P in dairy foods and commercial milk products by using radioimmunoassay was 1.4, 6, 17, 12, 98, 43, and 300 ng/ml or ng/g in skim milk, butter milk, skim milk powder, drinking milk, milk powder, cream and butter, respectively. This investigation confirmed again the high lipophylicity of progesterone

So if you dont know, progestorone is a hormone that both men and women produce, and is converted into T and E respectively, increased levels of this hormone can cause your body to produce more testostorone, but on the flip side it will also boost your estrogen production

Estrogens

Estrogens are the big hitter that we're worried about here, we've all heard of the estrogen in the food and water supply turning men into cucks and sissies, so how big of a role do dairy products play in this game?

Quote:previous studies have shown that about 60–80% of estrogens come from milk and dairy products in western diets (75). Although the oral bioactivity of free 17β-estradiol and oestrone may be a bit low, but oestrogen sulphate as a main conjugate in milk, has a relatively high oral bioactivity (9). Recent epidemiological studies indicating a very strong relation between milk and dairy products high consumption and high incidence of testicular and prostate cancers (76).

Meaning, if you're very worried about being a DOM high T jock, cutting out dairy would be the first step for you to make in your quest for normal erectile function.

Quote:The most sensitive section of human population to estrogens are children who are passing the prepubertal period and it is well known that despite the low concentrations of estrogens in this period, they play very crucial roles such as developing and growth during childhood.

Duh, this will come as a surprise to no one, but the bulk of the damage will already have been done, but to those of you who intend on having your little "slayer sons" whom you can live vicariously through, should keep in mind that on top of making your son keep his tounge on the roof of his mouth, he should also avoid dairy like its the devil, in fact just tell him that they're allergic to it and that they will die if they touch it. And if your baby mama tries to breastfeed him then you better be ready to slap a bitch

Quote:Recently it has been clarified that feeding of mice with xenooestrogen-containing fish-derived diet caused significant decrease in epididymal weight, adult sperm concentration and sperm motility as compared to the control group, which indicating that environmental estrogens may pass through the food chain and exert some disorders in male reproductive system (120). In contrast, stimulatory role of oestrogen on sperm motility in the male golden hamster has been reported (121). It has also been demonstrated that estrogens are essential for androgens pubertal periosteal bone expansion (122).

But odds are if you've ever drank a glass of milk you're probably infertile anyways, so you wont have to worry about having slayer kids, oh well at least you still have your wife's son right?

the amount of hormones in milk is so little that you need to drink 100 litres of milk a day to affect your estrogen level

There's a difference between pasteurized milk and raw milk, make a distinction. Raw milk doesn't contain any hormones because it isn't touched. Farmers are feeding their cows soy, think about that and make the correlation to phytoestrogens.

I meant industrial pasteurized milk.

You shouldn't ever drink pasteurized milk try to find a local farmer and buy it from them.

How to know if it is pasteurized? I can only find "UHT" nothing more.

Yes i really dont find nothing about only UHT.

(I live in Brazil).
UHT is ultra pasteurized milk basically the worst you can drink. Find a local farmer in Brazil using Google, buy milk from them.

Why shouldn't you drink pasteurized milk?
Rapid heat treatments like pasteurization, and especially ultra-pasteurization, actually flatten the molecules so the enzymes cannot do their work. If such proteins pass into the bloodstream (a frequent occurrence in those suffering from “leaky gut,” a condition that can be brought on by drinking processed commercial milk),

Breastfeeding is good. It's other milk that is bad.
