Well what are they gonna do for a living?

Most jobs require good communication skills. Even shitty paper pushing ones.

Maybe you can work for a Quant Investment Fund or be a Google Software Engineer. But how many can actually do that?

To be an software engineer you need communication skills
Jfl if you think you're not gonna talk with people about every single thing you do

Whoops. Then its even more over for autists than originally thought.

autism affects less people than its necessary to give these defects as much attention

I have never had a job over 2 months. Spent 20 years in a lockdown at my parent's home due to hypersensitivity to noise and lack of income to find a way out. Learned up on programming and started college at 31 after failing to make any money as a "freelance" programmer. Got a CS+Math BS at 37 and tried grad programs and jobs in another state. Broke aside for some small Trumpbux leftovers I will use for beer. Didn't start drinking until 39

Tbh college nowadays is overrated. Unless your going to stem or engineering or a field like that (which is getting increasingly harder too do thanks to Chinese and Indians foreigners overflowing the classrooms) it's simply not worth it. Too much debt and there's literally an entire generation filled of college grads that can't get a job because there's a high supply of them. Don't forget how most colleges and universities like to shoehorn random shit that you don't give a fuck about.

I had a STEM double major at a decent engineering school located in a aerospace hub
