Are blue eyes really a feature that gets you interest?

I know this girl who is now dating a guy who has a very average saggy face and normal eye area but guess what, his eyes are blue. I do remember her telling me she was into blue eyed guys, but I didn't know she'd date someone so average if she was basing stuff on physical attraction lol are they really the big deal? I am blue eyed too but I also have nice facial proportions and yet girls seem pretty hard to get lol
