I'm thinking that having braces might signal genetic inferiority, especially when a good portion of the population after the age of 18 don't have them on anymore. Or maybe they look childish when worn after a certain age?

All I know is that I've never seen a chad in real life (after high school) that was wearing braces at the time. Maybe I just have not had the fortune of seeing this person.

Because most people wear braces during their teen years, i personnally know many people who are good-looking and did wear braces, however it was just to straighten the teeth not to fix malocclusions.

Most people are comprehensive from what i see and 18-19 is still an acceptable age range for wearing braces, i doubt that you'll be judged much for that.

invisilign along side lasik are two of the biggest and most horrifying scams made. invisilign has a massive chance of causing you to just loose teeth, which is a much bigger failo than having braces and lasik has an even larger chance of causing permanent dry eye to the point of having to use eyedrops and losing all night vision + being farsighted (much worse than near sighted). NEVER fall for those scams, its blatantly criminal that they are allowed but other things aren't. Also reminder that the 3rd leading cause of death in the US is by medical malpractice, so never trust a doctor.
