if you have the option place it outside, or somewhere where people won't visit
Placing it inside a bathroom will make your home really shitty especially for visitors.
Plus i don't think smelling cat shit will be good for your mental health lmao

We put our's on the rooftop since we pay rent for both but you can have it in the balcony too since they can be discrete. You can also buy an automated cleaning litterbox and have it in the bathroom, that's what all my acquaintances with cats do.

well i leave my cats outside and whenever I want them inside i just open the windows etc.
Having cats in a small house and a litterbox inside is death tier. It will make your house smell like shit and will probably take a toll on your mental health i know this.
