Are colored contacts bad?

If you have dark brown eyes like me it's usually not good, zero contrast. The only solution is colored contacts or laser surgery (which can end up looking like shit). So colored contacts are the only decent solution, but can people really tell? Or what if someone finds out you wearing them, are they a good solution?

i dont think anybody will find out unless they are REALLY look at it.

ofc it will be obvious if you go to school i.e. and one day pull up with the most ligthest eyes possible but if you just go out without anybody you know youll be fine
