Are extremely religious people delusional?

I’m not hating on those who are religious. Believe what you want to believe

But I have a friend who is VERY catholic. His life is dedicated to his religion which I’m not against. I actually find his faith to be quite admirable and I respect his beliefs

But he constantly goes on about angels, demons, heaven and hell. How the eternal souls of disbelievers will not be with God after death (AKA hell) He keeps trying to push me to convert because he wants to “save me”

He said he wants to find a good catholic girl and get married and have at least 4 kids by the time he’s 26 (he’s 20 btw)

I just sit silently and pretend I’m agreeing with him

He is an extreme case, like me and my family Catholic but we always keep our beliefs to ourselves.

Most christians are i Know someone like that he thinks yoga is a demonic thing muslim are relatively ok they just dont wanna hang out with woman drink beer or eat pork (the good muslim not the bad one and pls avoid the bad one )

Not really, if you actually believe in god you should try to be your best and live your life according to that. The converting part is what PMO leave me tf alone nigga i don't want to convert.

I mean sure but you can say that about other stuff too. Like why not have premarital sex and commit other sins if your god will supposedly forgive you anyways. Its just funny to see where religious ppl draw the line
