People in your life != friends. You should keep many acquaintances and have a strong connection with family members. Fuck regular friends, they are useless trash and even normies figure this out, which is why friend circles shrink with age.

Yes they’re unironically really important. I regret taking friendships for granted when I was younger. definitely missed key chances to go to parties and stuff
