Are Georgians European?

Most of them say they are however they have no ancestral connections to Europeans whatsoever. They are natives of the Caucasus and related to other west asians (Armenians, Abkhazes, Chechens, Turks etc.) . Although many of them may look white facially, their dna refutes any european connection. I am confused. What do you think?

Genetically speaking, a Dagestani and Western Turkish is more European than any Georgian
