Are hot showers bad for skin?

When I shower I use hot water but I use coke water on my face and hair. My hair has been getting really dried out lately. Should I switch to cold showers

Cold can send your system into shock which isn't good for your nerves. If you are going to do cold showers start warm then work up to cold.

The fuck is coke water? You mix coca cola with water and pour it on your face, or put cocaine in water and pour it on your face? Both of those methods are very expensive. Just use normal face lotion.

i used to use steamy showers to get more hair volume, showering and letting the steam get in the hair without washing it, but that was when I had this kind of hairstyle

I was an idiot back then didnt even use styling products jfl

Yeah really hot water can dry out your skin and strip your skin and hair off its oils. Cold showers are bad too, they shock you and the so-called benefits are cope, only masochists take cold showers. Best is luke warm showers

Going too hot will dry out your skin and if you have sensitive skin or eczema prone skin it’ll make it worse

of course dude what do you think. But i used to do cold showers for 6 months and i missed so much hot showers that i came back, isnt that much difference. The main one is how much less cold i would feel when taking cold showers, actually insane i could go just with shirt in 5 degrees. But i think the midterm is the ideal.

Used to have back acne and take hot showers. Switched to cold showers. 0 difference over months of cold showers.

They are good for waking you up but frankly, haven't personally seen any skin changes. Seems like a useless hassle.
I take warm showers now.
