Are Italians and Greeks considered white?

I've seen some white users deny Greeks and Italians as white on this forum. Are they considered white or are some people just being edgy?

I am not looking for any biases because I am Asian, not European

I just wanna know because I keep seeing other whites say that. When I was young I thought everyone from Europe + Russia were white

Yes, they are both white. They are European. Having a tan doesn't take away from the fact that you're still white. You could say the same about the Spanish, for example, with Carlos Sainz. They are still all white.

As a Greek I confirm that many of us do look similar to Levantines and Turks. But culturally yes we are European and most people consider us white.

I would say that in terms of looking the least white, southern spaniards , and Souther Italians and some portions of the greek population look the least white.

But overall you can still tell they look different then lighter skinned ethnics. Take for example levantine Middle East people, you can easily tell them apart once you get a sense of the average population look.

The Spaniards esp imo might look closer to the hispanic look in some cases.

I would say that the majority of Sicilians look southern European, and a minority of them look central/northern European and middle eastern. Basically, if you're coming from anywhere in north Africa or the middle east, and land in Sicily, you will immediately notice a stark contrast in the phenotype, and you will know that you've left the Arab/Levantine world and are now in a white country.

Greeks look the least white in Europe. Second probably southern Italians or Albanians. Spaniards/Portuguese I have no idea but I assume they are whiter than Greeks and Italians considering they are genetically mostly of the R1b haplogroup and cluster very close to French people and northern Italians on pca diagrams.. Greeks and southern Italians are mostly J2 & E1b (MENA types) and cluster very close to Jews and in some cases Levantines on pca diagrams. And as a half Greek myself, it definitely shows in our phenotypes..
