Are meme coins worth spending my money on compared to other crypto?

I feel like meme coins are purely luck, but I think it’s a good way to quickly make a lot of money.

I am very new to crypto as I have been trying to learn about it (haven’t spent any money yet) and would like to know generally what is better.

Or if there is a better option with crypto let me know!

U should not do it unless there actually is potential (for example when trumpcoin launched)

I lost several 100$ on it
