are orthodontics cope?

right now i am 16 and thinking about getting fixing my overbite i dont want normal braces cuz i heard they flatten the maxila so i was thinking about forsus and herbst appliances but ive seen people calling it cope so i am not sure . what do u guys think is it worth getting one of them?

Retraction/camouflage orthodontics are what you don't want. Explicitly state to your orthodontist that you want to expand your palate to accommodate all your teeth.

yes i will say to them to make my lower jaw foward and widen my palate so i can improve my airway because flattening the maxila will make my airway worse this is the most nt and best way i can say it i think
