Indian populations abroad are indeed overachievers but are not representative of Indians in India. It's a selection bias.

The studies frequently use children which is also highly unreliable as twin iq analysis has shown iq becomes more hereditary with age and at a young age the values maybe drastically different.

You can read through this document and see for yourself, mind you the South Asian populations here are selected immigrants (implying higher iq than normal) and don't suffer from malnutrition.

tbqh, i couldnt give less of afuck abt any iq or w/e measurements. the only reason i even posted abt it is bc all intellectually intensive areas in the us are dominated by curries and chinks (and some whites) along w being rly disproportionately represented at the top of society, ig i was wrong.

I wonder to what degree IQ is genetic vs influenced by upbringing, culture, education systems, being poor, etc. Poor areas in India are low iq where as rich parts have higher iq. Most of India is poor.

East Asian countries are high iq but they also study like drones all day.
