Are people becoming more beautiful due to hypergamy?

If women have unlimited options, they are going to pick the most handsome mates. You would therefore expect younger generations to be more beautiful. However, is there any evidence for that? A lot of women are not having children and the men they run after only use them for sex anyway, so I doubt people are becoming more beautiful.
