Are peptides labeled as “not for human consumption” safe?

Every peptide is labelled as not for human consumption because they are not approved by any regulatory body for human consumption.
Or, the company wants to omit liability/it is a superficial way to prevent legal ramifications because selling pharmaceutical products for human consumption is legal.
Either way, peptide sellers are put under scrutiny regardless of whether they have this disclaimer or not, but not having the disclaimer is going to accelerate how fast a site gets taken down.

I've only seen such disclaimers on single-vial sites though so you're probably getting ripped off.
You can expect prices 90% cheaper than those on these websites for peptides, e.g., 10*10mg of Reta for ~$90.
