I know at this point we've all heard about the oxytocin bullshit which every tiktoker at this point spews out about how oxytocin stimulates osteoblasts and how that in turn can cause bone growth. Well I was thinking about it, and if there is some truth to that statement, wouldn't a short term relationship be the best for oxytocin without spiking cortisol. Oxytocin gets released through intimate activity, so maybe even hookups would be the best. If you've ever been in a long term relationship, the shit is not fun. u have to buy her shit, stress over her, argue w her, and all that other bullshit js to get intimacy which u could get w a common hoe just by chatting it up with her in one night. Well in a short term or hookup (i'm gonna use both terms interchangeablely) you get the oxytocin by either fucking her or cuddling or what not and then y'all can go your seperate ways and if it's a "link" then u can just booty call her and get the oxytocin again. Why would I get in a long term relationship knowing it will yes provide me with oxytocin, but it's also gonna spike my cortisol 24/7 and i might even get cucked or some dumb shit and have my heart broken and it's just gonna leave me w less test and probably looking less hot at the same time. can someone explain to me the reasoning on why anyone would get into a long-term relationship rather than just having bitches on the side to fuck whenever. I just got out of a longterm (8 month) relationship and now I have these 2 girls on my roster and i dont really care about them because I think my ex fucked me up but regardless I feel much better being able to do shit with them and not worry about them cuz they're just hoes than have one girl who may be an undercover hoe that I have to worry about.
tldr: fuck multiple hoes for high oxytocin but dont get attached and risk spiking cortisol worrying abt them > worrying abt one bitch
