Are the cameras of Android really dogshit ?

When i look at me at the mirror, i am like average.

But on my phone camera it's beyond brutal. I have a Android shitty phone from a random low budget bran (the phone cost 100€) and i legit don't look human on pics with it.

One of my Friends says to me all Android cameras are dogshit and even Him looks disgusting on it and better on iPhone (he is HTN)

Is it really true, or am i just coping, someone experienced photos from iphone AND Android, have you noticed differences ?

Eh it depends. I've seen some androids that take very good photos. iPhones are mostly an American thing so obviously euros aren't all going to be having shit cameras.

Apple has better automatic editing to put it simply
plus iPhone retain more detail and quality when used on snap, insta etc

Old android cameras are bad but the newer ones such as the S23 and S24 have great quality.
