Think about it. Why work so hard to manipulate the masses in a subtle way over generations only to just go all in with this covid shit? What was even the point of all the other shit (hollywood propaganda, war on "terror", mass immigration etc) if they are just going to brute force their way into totalitarianism via massive cover grab, using a pandemic as an excuse?

Don't tell me its because they had to "condition" the masses first. Nobody has been conditioned to accept all the bullshit that is currently happening, and if endless lockdowns and increase in authoritarianism continue it will most certainly lead to a backslash.

I have a theory: I think what we are seeing now, is not what the elites originally intended. I think this might be a desperate thing they have thrown together, because after Trump and Brexit they realized that their original plan of slowly taking over via demographic change and slow concentration of power wasn't working as intended. They could see the writing on the wall, and this is their response. Just go all in. And hope it works. And we don't even know if it even will. There is HUGE uncertainty right now about the future.

This is exactly my point. This makes no sense. Why accelerate things so much? What happened to their earlier strategy of taking over slowly via mass immigration? If they are just going to do it this way, then none of that other shit even served any purpose whatsoever. It's like they realized their original plans were failing, and decided to just smash the nuclear button instead.

There was already backlash here in Italy when the second lockdown was announced around October, with big protests in a lot of major cities with violence and looting included. Shit calmed down because of some successful fear mongering propaganda + actual laws being passed forbidding masses of people gathering.
If they keep the bullshit up though (like this magical COVID 19 Pro Max that suddenly appeared right when people started backlashing at the heavy Christmas holiday restrictions), I don't think any inflated death toll statistic or other made up crap will stop the backlash of the people.

What boggles my mind is some normies don't question any of this. It's like they were born to be enslaved and brainwashed. It's not a matter of iq Imo. It's like they just lack a certain level of awareness and believe the solution to everything is authority and government. Such fucking retards imo. Yes, but there are limits to how long governments can keep this lockdown bullshit up while increasing the powers of the police state, before it becomes obvious that this whole thing is just a power grab. EVEN IF if they start releasing deadlier viruses (you know, ones that ACTUALLY kill people) it will become blatant at some point that they are just being fascist pigs.

This is why I asked in the OP: Are the elites getting desperate? Why implement such extreme measures, that have a large potential for wide backslash, after decades and decades and decades of going about doing things slowly? It just doesn't make any sense.

This all looks like the behavior of a desperate poker player that knows they don't have that much credit left, so in a last ditch attempt at making a comeback they just go all in with what they have left.
