Are there any downsides to getting wisdom teeth removed?

I got an xray done and my wisdom teeth are horizontal. I'm most likely getting them removed. Are there any downsides?

there was no room for wisdoms it was kinda painly too i feel better after removing thpse and literally nothing changed
