Mine is long enough but very narrow and therefore not visible. It looks weird you'd expects there to be a visible ramus due to the form, but there just isn't.Are there ways to define it surgically, but without implants?

imdo

Consider implants

I think you can flare out the gonions with a Chin wing or Side wing osteotomy, but I don't know of any osteotomy to widen the whole ramus.

ramus lengthening is one of the most unstable procedures to have done.
I don't think you can get it commercially, and you want your ramus width increased right?
it sounds like your problem is maybe your bigonial? or inverted ramus?
Implants or imdo are your best bet in that case, I don't think there's any procedure that increases ramus width, you might have some luck with chewing though but probably not enough

For ramus better are distraction osteogenesis

Implants specifically designed for vertical lengthening of the jaw can add up to 10 mm of length to the ramus. This is from an Eppley article.
