Doesn't give me the option to

4070 is the max for this particular model.

The one that supports 4080 is way bigger and heavier. I travel a lot so its a pain in the ass trying to carry a big laptop will all my other shit too

but the thickness is 27mm compared to 20mm of the other one and .4kg difference

Yeah 4080 Laptops are Generally Heavier. Only Asus Zephyrus G16 and Razer Blade 16 Support 4080 with Slim Chassis but they are Expensive Af.

Look for 2023 G16 or M16 Intel 13th Gen to 14 th gen isn't very big difference. You can get a 4080 Model for Cheap.
