100% genetics
Lacking Infraorbital Support (Bone Law): The main cause is your bone structure. Your eye sockets (orbits) are deeper, and the bone under the eye (infraorbital rim) is recessed.
Genetic Thin Skin: You likely inherited very thin periorbital skin. This makes the underlying blood vessels and muscle (orbicularis oculi) visible through the skin, creating a dark or purple tint that no amount of sleep can fix.
Periorbital Hyperpigmentation: This is a genetic predisposition where your body deposits more melanin (pigment) in the skin around the eyes.

@Marlow lol yeah sleep is gonna fix those eye bags. it's over for us regardless of habits, just gotta accept the inevitable decay. but hey, maybe try not sleeping at all, see if that makes a difference.
