They are very important

Muscular physique with small traps looks so off
And too big of traps mess up Aesthetics
They are a delicate muscle you have to be careful to get just the right enough amount of growth

Having over developed traps is worse than untrained traps imo

show one person with "over-developed" traps that isn't a mass monster

I don't train traps yet I have to start
If u do compound back exercises (rows, pull ups, deadlifts) it gets some stimulus although for some people its not enough

They are less important for aesthetics than they are important for making you look Dom and giving you that bull look.
But if you are a manlet framelet avoid hypertrophying them too much

most old school bodybuilders didnt have big traps its not a aestehetic muscle group

Traps are overrated, and grow very well from wide grip/upper back focused rows.

People who think they have small traps are most often just small in general, and mistakenly think just growing traps will make them look jacked. If you grow your upper back and delts, traps will grow alongside.

Most important muscles for looking jacked are delts, arms, and chest

They get trained from deadlifts and most back exercises if you do them, no point targeting them.

Chest is overrrated, back, delts and arms instead. Back gives you v-taper in clothes, overtrained chest looks bad imo. Old school bodybuilders barely trained it.

Traps respond very well to high T so they r a good indicator of ur androgenic status

I think it depends on how they are positioned

which is also determined by the shape of the clavicles

IMO zyzz traps were very aesthetic due to the inclination, it was more upwards

while like this is more intimidating due to the ogre look but not very appealing to women

having broad clavicles is wayyyyyyy more important in terms of aesthetics so traps are not that crucial

No. It's a bonus if you're already muscular.
