I say yes, it's the same. But you are used to see the mirror self more that's why it's odd to see the reverse or videos.

My final proof for this was, looking at other people's mirror reflection and to compare it without the mirror version. It was the same. So yeah, if you look good in the mirror and in videos you gucci.

I don't know much about rating but despite having visible recession and deformity I would say MTN-HTN.

i was always curious about this, does this mean that the way other people see you in real life is the same way you see yourself in the mirror (except its flipped because you're used to seeing yourself the other way)? because when i use the inverted filter or anything mirrored it is genuinely ropefuel for me :feelswhy:

Inverted photo or double mirror is how people actually see you but they don’t recognise the irregularities because only you’re used to seeing your mirrored image.

Over time, if you use the inverted filter, your brain will get used to it again and nothing will seem off.

From my observations it is the same, take videos for example where you film yourself from a decent distant like one arm away and move your face unfrauded around the camera or vice versa to simulate that classic "look into the mirror and face check" - movement.

It is roughly the same. And when I look into other people's reflection, it's also identical to their non mirror reflection. Angles still play a role how you perceive someone.

Pictures however might be the easiest to fraud and therefore not a realistic view of oneself for the lack of 3D effect.

True mirror is the most accurate, get the true mirror app on iphone and then flip the camera and take a photo in the mirror. Thats how u look irl
