women are more likely to be in the average range while men have a wilder deviation and are most likely to be both smarter and dumber. Even ignoring studies pointing towards it this is what I've observed irl. I've never met a woman smarter than my dad but also have yet to meet a gal dumber than one of my male friends (who I won't call out here lol suprised he's somehow still alive with the shit he does).

Also women trend towards social intelligence when men trend more towards spatial intelligence.

They act more on emotional impulse and feelings, we just only see things with rationality and logos. They often use pathos more and thus the idea of them being more dumb is formed, but they're not actually biologically dumber than men

I've read that intelligence tends to be more skewed at the extremes in men, i.e. there are more genius men than genius women but there are also far more retarded men than retarded women. I'm guessing hyperconformism also plays a part here, exceptional women don't fully embrace their gifts because they fear sticking out, but the exact same mechanism ensures below average women still put in the right effort with schoolwork.
