I just need more jaw width but I don’t want to risk my harmony getting fucked.

any good examples of implant ascensions?

chin + jaw angle implants are one of the greatest copes
They are nothing compared to double jaw surgery and furthermore they have the risk of infection and masseter necrosis. (this happened to albaniancel)

Double jaw is not used to angulate the mandible

Wrap around implants never look right. Get the ortho appliance that widens the lower jae . I forgot what its called; it's basically like MSE but for the mandible

how many mms he got and which surgeon he got from?

@RealSurgerymax I’m assuming this is very rare?

He probably means masseter dehiscence or masseter atrophy. Short of an accidental surgical injury that wasn’t repaired to the blood supply, I don’t see how necrosis is even possible. Perhaps by a very nasty uncontrolled infection.

No they aren’t, but a combined approach if indicated will give the best results.

he is a patient of Pagnoni, but I can't say anymore about him because he wants his privacy to be secured

he literally lacks a jaw angle. The surgeon provided him a free revision surgery but I am not updated on his results

first time i've ever heard of muscle necrosis from a plastic surgery. only research is about masseter botox repetition may cause necrosis on animals, no case of human.

well it's not necrosis... I am not a doctor so I don't know how to define the retirement of muscle above the implant

maybe masseter muscle detachment? i saw yaremchuk's articles about that.
if implant too wide for patient's soft tissues it can rupture the muscle itself. but even that is fixable and not that detrimental.

here is the article : https://www.dryaremchuk.com/blog/masseter-muscle-reattachment-after-mandibular-angle-surgery/

" The incidence of partial disruption in this series was 2.3%. "
"... This may reflect poor operative technique or may be a function of that patient’s particular anatomy. Most of these patients had more than one operation performed in the area. Repetitive surgery in this area, particularly the removal and replacement of implants, makes damage to the sling more likely.
..."

Interesting as I just got a bimax with Pagnoni and am healing right now. He said that jaw implants are inferior to osteonomies.

Jaw implants are great cope
First try to fix vertical growth and then give side wing
