There is no central authority on who is incel and who isn't. Rules over on .co define incel as a person who desires, but is unable, to be in a romantic relationship. You were not able to achieve a relationship with her despite wanting and trying to, therefore I see no reason to not think of yourself as an incel, at least temporarily.
