Are you meant to show reference photos to surgeons

Title. Because you have to be realistic do you tell the surgeon what you wanna fix and they have photos they provide themselves on whats achievable for you? Or do you show them photos and they tell you whether it would suit your face. Or do they just try to follow the reference

yes, you should ideally work with them every step of the way in any shape or form. They will show you realistic and ofcourse showing a picture would help. Some morphs of your face itself would also be good. Its like going for a haircut
