There are many blue collar careers that can consistently pay $100k/yr with overtime. But no one really wants to do them.

Most blue collar cels would trade $100k/yr for $50k/yr in the office. Most people would choose being a semi homeless online influencer making $20k/yr than working a 9 to 5.

This sentiment is put in words when I read "Politics" by Aristotle, when he talks of superiority of mental over the menial. Brutal.

Like you've gotta do something social media based on the side, always. Even if you play video games, you should be streaming it on Twitch. Anything for an online income. That's what'll truly make you free. 9 to 5 is only so you don't go homeless.
