Just want to reiterate what another commenter has said–be careful, and make contingency plans. Incel communities often foster violence, especially against women. I have no idea what this guy may or may not do, but it can't hurt to be too careful.

When you leave this guy, make sure you do so in a way that keeps you safe. Consider writing him a short letter, or if you have an in-person conversation make sure a trusted friend knows where you are and what you're doing, and will come to your aid if you need it.

I would also recommend not bringing up the incel stuff to him, as it's more likely to feed into his victim complex. Just say "I think the relationship isn't working out, I need a change." Give him as little as possible to argue with, and don't make it a debate. Cut contact afterwards.

You should take evidence of what he said online and keep it, so he can’t delete it. You need to keep yourself safe. He will claim he either didn’t do it or it’s just an online fake persona - it’s him. Do not be manipulated, do not put your self value on another person (it’s a hard learning curve, but one I’ve had to learn too), I’m sorry. You are, at the most basic level, a person who deserves to be treated well. I recommend you get therapy about this and your body image issues, therapy (and weirdly sport) has helped me with mine and I’m now confident and doesn’t matter what another person thinks of me, I am me and my voice is all that matters. Your voice is all that matters. I’m sure you care about him and love him, but the hardest lesson to learn is just because you do does not mean they reciprocate (and that hurts more tbh), but leave him. Other posts have Said incels harbour violence etc, he’s a misogynist and a liar (the minimum you know). Get out and stay safe x
