I can't condemn it. I have dumped LTBs for the simple chance of pursuing hotter women. Didn't matter I came to love them, it still bothered me I wasn't looksmatched

No, it's evolutionarily sensible. I mean, an attractive face is a healthy face. Health indicators are among the most important features to be considered attractive (clean, white teeth, clear skin, good head of hair, clear scleras etc.). We are genetically wired to pursue healthy (and thus attractive) partners. Everything boils down to 1) will my kids with this person be successful (as cavemen, that meant strong and healthy) and 2) will this person (from the female perspective) be able to protect me and my family. I don't think lookism is something to be condemned, but I do think that due to social media, lookism is more harsh than ever.
